About us
Four anglers. Ten days. One mission.
A premium, small-group liveaboard fishing outfit operating deep in the Seychelles Outer Islands, far beyond the reach of day boats and crowded mainland waters.
What we do
Screaming Reels specialises in 8–10 day offshore expeditions for just four anglers, taking you far beyond the reach of day boats and crowded mainland waters.
Our mission is simple: deliver raw, unforgettable fishing in the Indian Ocean's wildest waters — and do it in a way that protects these untouched ecosystems for future generations.
We chase everything from GTs and dogtooth to yellowfin, sailfish and reef species across remote atolls and deep-water structure, but we do it responsibly. Our trips follow ethical catch-and-release, careful fish handling and low-impact expedition practices to keep the Outer Islands healthy, balanced and thriving.
The crew
Who you'll be fishing with.
Mitch Rankin
Your contact
A qualified skipper holding RYA certifications, with years of hands-on charter experience in the Seychelles. His background combines practical offshore experience with a deep understanding of the logistical and regulatory realities of running expeditions in the Indian Ocean.
Having run and supported numerous trips to the Amirantes, Mitch understands the technical demands of remote charters — vessel capability, crew selection, weather windows, fuel planning and offshore safety. He is equally well versed in the administrative side of bringing guests into Seychelles: entry requirements, permits, letters of authority, and coordination with local agents.
He works with guests to understand their objectives and experience level, then matches them with the most suitable vessel, skipper and guide.
